I am delighted to be working with Disley framing studio, Naughty Dog Creative in Disley, High Peak on an exhibition of some of my recent life drawings, paintings and prints.
SUPER NATURAL is a collection of new mixed media artworks including large graphite and charcoal drawings of the figure; drawn from a life model, these are as much about the process of seeing it as it is drawing and use free and organic mark making to navigate the form.
The Secret Garden series of paintings in oil and acrylic are inspired by the natural landscape and gardens. Each painted en plein air at the height of spring, summer and autumn 2018 and completed in the studio, are my record of the UK’s seasonal changes.
