Collagraphs made during my course at Hotbed Press. Cutting into board and adding material to create texture is a process that really intrigues me and helps me to develop my sketches and work from memory. I am planning to use more of my landscape and geology sketches in this way.
These landscapes are from sketches and memory of Cotton Tree, in Queensland, Australia. I am also working with sketches of rocks in formations that often defy gravity, made around Kinder Scout in the Peak District.
