A studio residency over six weeks in a studio at Unit 4 Regents Trading Estate. Nancy worked in collaboration with Donna Wood on some co-created work which is written about here and more can be seen on our week-long Instagram residency with @Orrbbitthere
At the same time we occupied the studio space and I worked independently on these large scale un-stretched canvases using recording movements using projection and painting in oils. Trying to capture fast movement with a slow medium, the daily lives of my children playing games, doing exercises and a friend working on a painting and decorating job. These are yet unfinished, out of sight for a while and I plan to go back to these soon.
I also produced some smaller moving portrait paintings and the movement of water in a fountain.
